Who we are
WellnessInsider is published by VANA Group. VANA Group is the data controller for information collected through this site. Contact details for every enquiry type are on our contact page.
What the newsletter form collects
Our newsletter signup form collects one thing: the email address you type into it. There is no name field, no demographic question, and no hidden data captured alongside it. You provide the address voluntarily and only to receive the newsletter.
We use that address for one purpose: sending you the newsletter you asked for. We do not sell email addresses, we do not rent them, and we do not share them with the brands we cover.
Beehiiv is our email processor
Newsletter subscriptions are stored and sent by Beehiiv, an email publishing platform, acting as our processor. When you submit the signup form, your address is passed to Beehiiv and stored there. Beehiiv is the store of record for our subscriber list; we do not keep a duplicate copy in our own database.
Beehiiv processes subscriber data under its own privacy terms and records standard email delivery events such as whether a message was delivered and opened. Every newsletter we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and needs no explanation.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site tracking scripts. We do not operate an advertising network, we do not sell audience data, and we do not build behavioural profiles of readers.
Our hosting provider records standard server request data, which includes IP address, browser user agent, and the page requested. That data is used to serve the site, to keep it available, and to defend it against abuse. If we introduce aggregate audience measurement, this section will name the tool before it goes live.
How long we keep data
Your email address is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your address is marked inactive in Beehiiv and is no longer used to send you anything. You can ask for it to be deleted outright at any time.
Access, correction, and deletion requests
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request to editorial@mywellnessinsider.com from the address concerned, or from another address with enough detail to identify the record. We action deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Depending on where you live, you may have statutory rights over your personal data, including under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act. We apply the rights described above to every reader regardless of jurisdiction rather than operating separate tiers.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted an email address to us, write to editorial@mywellnessinsider.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When our data practice changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. See also our terms of use and our advertising and disclosure policy.
